Property Standards & Code of Conduct

Every landlord, agent and caretaker listing on Gilfro Homes agrees to these rules to keep renters safe in every market.

1. Zero viewing fees

Seekers must never be asked for money, mobile transfers or airtime to view a property.

2. Real, accurate listings

Every listing must be a real, accessible property. 'Available now' means vacant or ready to hand over. The advertised price is the price.

3. Clear pricing

State the currency, deposit, service charges, water and electricity terms and any recurring fees up front.

4. Prompt updates

Mark units as let, reserved or coming soon within 24 hours of a change.

5. Respect tenant privacy

Contact details from viewings and applications may only be used for that tenancy — never for unrelated marketing.

6. Non-discrimination

Do not refuse viewings or applications because of race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or marital status.

7. Enforcement

Breaking these rules can lead to listing removal, loss of verified status, permanent bans and reporting to authorities. Report a violation using the form below.
